CARPET ‘STEAM’ CLEANING
Chris’ Carpet Cleaning works to the highest standards in the industry and all work is done in accordance to the Australian standard for cleaning of textile floor coverings AS/NZS 3733:1995, along with the IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning & Restoration Certification) Standard for carpet cleaning S100.
Professional carpet cleaning removes many allergens including pollens, bacteria’s, moulds, dust mites and pollution from the carpet. Carpet cleaning not only makes your carpet cleaner and healthier but it also can extend the life of the carpet by many years. Professional carpet cleaning, done on a regular basis, removes most soils that vacuuming alone cannot remove such as sticky residues from filtration of the air, fats and oils and grease among many others. Naturally, high temperature water ‘steam’ is a great sanitizing agent, therefore giving a better clean with less harmful chemicals.
The Australian Standard AS/NZS 3733:1995 recommends carpets in domestic premises to be professionally maintained every 6 months and at a minimum every 12 months. This recommendation is also used by many carpet manufacturers and their warranty clause. For commercial premises such as schools and restaurants The Australian standards recommend a maintenance program of every 3-6 months, this is because these areas have high traffic volumes very frequently. For commercial offices it is recommended to have the carpets professionally maintained every 6 months and at a minimum every 12 months. An EPA study found that the air quality in a commercial office with properly maintained carpet was 100 times better than that of a tiles office.
UPHOLSTERY CLEANING
Using the same method as above, Regular cleaning of your home lounge or your car upholstery can have many benefits. Lounges, car seats, office chairs, these are all used for many hours every day. Dead skin cells, oils from the skin and hair are just a few thing that can get trapped in or upholstery. Professional cleaning can remove these and return the upholstery back to a healthy state.
We can clean upholstery from lounge suites, car upholstery, pub chairs to upholstery in bus/coaches, truck upholstery and office chairs. Currently we clean in excess of 5,800 seats of upholstery every year. That’s why we say we are upholstery cleaning specialists.
CARPET & UPHOLSTERY PROTECTION
Carpet & upholstery protection can assist in the prevention of staining by filling the die ports of the fibre with a clear substance making it more soil resistant and more spill resistant.
TILE & GROUT CLEANING
Chris’ Carpet Cleaning uses high pressure ‘steam’ to remove grease and grime from tiles & grout. The hot water is contained within the head of the tile cleaning tool and extracted leaving the tiles with as little excess moisture as possible. This is a very successful clean in high filth areas such as kitchen, bathrooms, showers and toilets.
We offer a comprehensive 24 hr emergency water damage restoration service. This service can be need by any means of water damage, whether it’s because water has entered a property from outside, from a storm or flood, or if a water pipe has burst. If any of these occur and cause damage to your property you need a water damage service. Currently we own 11 medium and 5 large air movers (Dryers), these are used to increase the air flow over the carpet or flooring to increase the rate of evaporation, and we currently own 1 large dehumidifier, this is used to remove excess moisture from the air to help increase the evaporation rate. All work is done in accordance to the IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning & Restoration Certification) Standard S500.
CARPET REPAIRS
Sometimes accidents happen, and that’s why we are here to help. A carpet repair service is there for that dreaded moment when the iron is knocked off the ironing board and lands on the carpet face down, or for when the cat or dog gets locked in the bedroom and tries to dig its way out or event for when cigarette ash is accidently dropped on the carpet. These are all accidents that we see on a regular basis and are quite often a quick and easy repair.
NEW CARPET SALES
We can provide a consultation to find out your flooring needs, help you with a practical solution and then do a measure, bring out some samples for you to select the type of style and colour and then provide a quote. We can provide a quote for supply only, supply and install and even install only.
PEST CONTROL
We can provide a comprehensive pest management service to control pests such as cockroaches, silverfish, spiders, ants, fleas, rodents and birds. We service restaurants, factories, houses, buses commercial offices.
